Prints

Zaplin Lampert Gallery handles original engravings and lithographs by the nineteenth-century Explorer artists, such as George Catlin and Karl Bodmer, and the early artists of the American West, including Albert Bierstadt and Thomas Moran. The Gallery also specializes in the photographs of Edward S. Curtis, who documented the disappearing Native American tribes of our nation. In addition, Zaplin Lampert features several premier printmakers of the twentieth century, including Gustave Baumann, Gene Kloss, Howard Cook, Doel Reed, Harold Joe Waldrum, and T.C. Cannon, all known for their depictions of the peoples and landscapes of the Southwest.
