Opening Day for Ranch Women of New Mexico -Friday April 15 through October 30, 2011.
New Mexico History Museum  and the Palace of the Governors.

From Evelyn Fite Tune's famously monogrammed cowboy boots to Fern Sawyer's irrepressible spirit, Ranch Women of New Mexico celebrates an icon of the American West, from a female point of view. Featuring 10 women who have “cowgirled” or owned ranches in New Mexico, the exhibit represents selections from work by photographer Ann Bromberg and writer Sharon Niederman.


A Century of Masters: The NEA National Heritage Fellows - ongoing
Museum of International Folk Art.

This exhibit features the New Mexico recipients of the award from the National Endowment for the Arts in recognition of their contributions to traditional arts.

American Buffalo, play by David Mamet

Ironweed Productions presents David Mamet's electrifying, Obie Award-winning play "American Buffalo." Following up on last year's critically-acclaimed production of "The Trip to Bountiful," Ironweed will transport audiences to a claustrophobic junk shop in the heart of Chicago, into the lives of three men desperate to pull off the perfect heist and make all of their “American dreams” come true. Lensic Gala Celebration Performance
Saturday, April 16 at 5 p.m.

Gala performance and activities celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Lensic Performing Arts Center, featuring an orchestral performance followed by a dinner at La Fonda Hotel. Proceeds will go to the Lensic Theatre.
