The Museum of New Mexico is likely the largest repository of works by Santa Fe's beloved woodcut printmaker, Gustave Baumann, thanks to the generosity of his family. Don't miss this show which features a large number of his color woodblock prints, including many of his most popular Southwestern landscapes and traditional scenes.

"From New York to Corrymore: Robert Henri & Ireland" through January 15, 2012
The celebrated artist, Robert Henri, who worked in Santa Fe over three extended visits during the teens and twenties, created a substantial body of work here. This exhibit showcases his work from periodic sojourns to Ireland.

The museum is presenting works from the colonial period to the present, including works associated with religious traditions such as retablos and bultos, textiles, furniture making, silverware, straw applique, and tinwork.
Roswell Museum
"New Mexico: 20th Century Visions"
The Roswell Museum is currently featuring an exhibition of the work of artists who worked in northern New Mexico. Prominently featured are Georgia O'Keeffe and Stuart Davis, but also the early artists of Taos, such as Victor Higgins, and Santa Fe, including Jozef Bakos and B.J.O. Nordfeldt.
The Museum also has an exhibition that explores art created in New Mexico during the Depression, with works created through the Works Progress Administration and the Federal Art Project. Artists include Gustave Baumann, Pablita Velarde and master wood carver, Felipe Archuleta. This is a changing exhibition space where works from the Permanent Collection are periodically rotated.
